Behavior: All about teenagers #3

Behavior: All about teenagers #3

Hello, people! This is Pedro Dantas and we're going to see more about teenagers and how they act in this phase.

  1.  The search for identity: rules and prohibitions usually cause the most diverse rebellious behaviors in young people. Contesting opinions, wanting to innovate and start thinking about the future are attitudes that are related to the phase in which the adolescent goes through a major cognitive change - the conquest of abstract thinking - and redefine key concepts for the formation of identity. This achievement is not simply related to biological maturation and chronological age but also to stimuli that each individual receives.

  2.  The importance of the group: At puberty, the tendency is that the adolescent moves away from the family safety net and seek references on friends and other adults to form as a subject. At that time, the schoolmates grow in importance. New behaviors and values come to the fore and is in whom they will find security to fight loneliness anxiety, typical this stage.

  3. The construction of sexuality: is at this age that soon starts to drive to the other. The young man experiences the feeling of grief for losing the child's body and surprise at the adult training. He needs to learn to deal with the desire and this causes a lot of unknown sensations.

 Behavior of young people

Often we find desperate parents for help in the education of their children, bringing as main complaint that they are becoming teenagers and taxing this period phase of rebellion or discoveries. We do not know exactly if this phase gets more confusing the heads of the parents or their children, but it can be seen that many see this as a time marked by many conflicts.
The adolescence is a time when several choices are made, decisions are taken and often the first loves appear and are marked. The lack of experience with life marks many mistakes and adolescents begin to discover that life is not a fairytale.

At this time the school is going to have different values: many think of the professional future and others think what is the next mouth they will kiss. The “barely educated” answers mark socializing with adults and they begin to question about their education and ideologies. The phrase "I am no longer a kid anymore" is repeated for each limit placed and the will of the new and the fear of facing the new make you appear insecure.

Sports: Olympics #1

Hi, here's Pedro Dantas and Caio Gabriel and in this post we're going to talk about eight sports of the Olympics!
Track Cycling: What to expect from a bicycle without brakes? The track cycling athletes take seriously the child's play to ride a bike and can exceed 80 km / h. Cyclists use a lycra outfit with extremely smooth surface and aerodynamic helmet, which gives the right race futuristic air. High technology, moreover, it is another feature of the subject: the handlebars and the frame bikes wheels are made of carbon fiber, and the tires are filled to a pressure three times higher than that of a common bicycle. All for milliseconds less.

·
Weight lifting: Who is the strongest person in the world? The question that seems taken from a superhero movie, is answered in real life and at the expense of a lot of sweat in the final of the Olympic weight lifting. The sum of the two races of the competition up, when the bar is raised directly from the floor to above the head; and pitch, when the bar is raised first, to shoulder height and then on the head the athletes support up to three times your body weight. In the men's tournament, the heaviest category is for up to 105kg athletes: be careful when trying to greet them with a handshake.

·
Synchronized swimming: Watch sport is like witnessing a spectacle. In addition to the soundtrack that accompanies the movements and makes it necessary to install speakers in the pool, so that athletes maintain choreography even when submerged women need to be clean! The makeup is waterproof and the hairstyle is set with gelatin. Bikinis are banned, bathing suits are required and athletes can use nasal guard a charming one.

Athletics: In the Rio 2016 Games, the fastest man in the world is perfectly attainable. The public can see Usain Bolt playing the qualifiers Athletics for only $ 100. And the Jamaican star comes to the Olympic Games willing to carry out an unprecedented "tripletriple": win gold medals for the third time in a row in the same three tests (100m , 200m and 4x100m relay). Expectation history made in Rio.

Equestrian jumping: Horses running and jumping over small lakes, low walls and bars. What you used to see in the cowboy movies and will also see live and without special effects, championship equestrian jumps. Animal and rider must maintain balance all the way, and with every missing (for example, putting his paws in the water or run away) they lose points. In the end, all that add fewer points gets the "sissy" in this case the gold medal. Get ready to hold your breath on every obstacle!

Handball: 1, 2, 3, 10, 30... In handball the score is not like this, with dozens and dozens of goals for each team. Since players can only hold the ball for up to three seconds, the pace is intense throughout the onehour match. Moreover, the audience is rooting for Brazilian women in 2016, you can see on the court the world's best player in 2014, Duda Amorim. Handball is also our thing.

Modern Pentathlon: The sport that requires multiple skills gathering evidence fencing, swimming, riding, running and shooting the Brazilian fans have a home athlete who focus their chips: Yane Marques, from Pernambuco. After significant titles (including gold at the Pan 2007), she won bronze at London 2012 and became the only Olympic medalist in the sport throughout the southern hemisphere. High chance of the Brazilian flag on the podium.

Golf: 2016 marks the return of the sport to the Olympics after more than a century, giving the competition a special importance. In addition, the installation of the Olympic Golf Center will allow the public to watch just a few meters away to shots of the biggest names in the sport, as the Irish Rory McIlroy, currently No. 1 in the world ranking. Viewers can follow on foot the circuit as the holes advance.

Culture: Island #2

Culture: Island #2

Hello, guys. My name is Vinicius and this post is, as you saw up above, abou Island's culture

Icelandic culture has its roots in North Germanic traditions. Icelandic literature is popular, in particular the sagas and eddas que were written during the High and Late Middle Ages. Centuries of isolation have helped to insulate the country's nordic culture from external influence; a prominent example is the preservation of the Icelandic language, which remains the closest to Old Norse of all modern Nordic languages.
In contrast to other Nordic countries, Icelanders place relatively great importance on independence and self-sufficiency; in the public opinion analysis by Conducted the European Commission, over 85% of Icelanders found independence to be "very important," Compared to 47% of Norwegians, 49% of Danes, and average of 53% for the EU25. Icelanders Also have a very strong work ethic, working some of the longest hours of any industrialized nation.
According to a poll by Conducted the OECD, 66% of Icelanders Were satisfied with their lives, while 70% believed that their lives will be satisfying in the future. similarly, 83% of people in Iceland reported having more positive experiences in an average day than negative ones, compared to an OECD average of 72%, which makes Iceland one of the happiest countries in the OECD. A more recent survey (2012) found out that almost three quarters of respondents stated they were satisfied with their lives, compared to a global average of about 53%.
Iceland is liberal with regard to LGBT rights issues. In 1996 the Icelandic parliament passed legislation to create registered partnerships for same-fri couples, conferring nearly all the rights and benefits of marriage. In 2006, parliament voted unanimously to grant same-fri couples the same rights of heterosexual couples in adoption, parenting and assisted insemination treatment. On 11 June 2010, the Icelandic parliament amended the marriage law, making it gender neutral and defining marriage between the two Individuals, making Iceland one of the first countries in the world to legalize same-fri marriage. The law redbourn effect on 27 June 2010. The amendment to the law also means registered partnerships for same-fri couples are now no longer possible, and marriage is their only option-identical to the existing situation for opposite-fri couples.
Icelanders are known for their deep sense of community: an OECD survey found that 98% believe that they know they could rely on someone in a time of need, higher than in any other industrialized country. Similarly, only 6% Reported "rarely" or "never" socializing with others. This high level of social cohesion is attributed to the small size and homogenized population, as well as to the long history of harsh survival in an isolated environment, which reforced the importance of unity and cooperation.
Egalitarianism is highly valued among the people of Iceland, with income inequality being among the lowest in the world. The constitution explicitly prohibits the enactment of noble privileges, titles, and ranks. Everyone is addressed by their first name. As in other Nordic countries, equality between the sexes is very high; Iceland is consistently ranked among the top three countries in the world for women to live in.

Literature

Iceland's best-known classical works of literature are the Icelanders' sagas, prose epics set in Iceland's age of settlement. The most famous of these include Njáls saga, about an epic blood feud, and Grænlendinga saga and Eiríks saga, describing the discovery and settlement of Greenland and Vinland (modern Newfoundland). Egils saga, Laxdæla saga, Grettis saga, Gísla saga and Gunnlaugs saga ormstungu are also notable and popular Icelanders' sagas.
The translation of the Bible was published in the 16th century. Important compositions since the 15th to the 19th century include sacred verse, most famously the Passion Hymns of Hallgrímur Pétursson, and rímur, rhyming epic poems. Originating in the 14th century, popular rímurwere into the 19th century, When the development of new literary forms was provoked by the influential, National-Romantic writer Jónas Hallgrímsson. In recent times, Iceland has produced many great writers, the best-known of whom is arguably Halldór Laxness, who received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1955 (the only Icelander to win the Nobel Prize this far). Steinn Steinarr was an influential modernist poet during the early 20th century who remains popular.
Icelanders are avid Consumers of literature, with the highest number of bookstores per capita in the world. For its size, Iceland imports and translates more international literature than any other nation. Iceland also has the highest per capita publication of books and magazines, and around 10% of the population will publish a book in their lifetimes.

Music

Much Icelandic music is related to Nordic music, and includes vibrant folk and pop traditions, medieval music group Voces Thules, alternative and indie rock bands The Sugarcubes and Of Monsters and Men, jazz fusion band Mezzoforte, musicians Björk and Emiliana Torrini, and post-rock band Sigur Rós. The national anthem of Iceland is Lofsöngur, written by Matthías Jochumsson, with music by Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson.
Traditional Icelandic music is strongly religious. Hymns, both religious and secular, are a particularly well-developed form of music, due to the scarcity of musical instruments throughout much of Iceland's history. Hallgrímur Pétursson wrote many protestant hymns in the 17th century. Icelandic music was modernized in the 19th century, when Magnús Stephensen expressed pipe organs, which were followed by harmoniums. Other vital traditions of Icelandic music are epic alliterative and rhyming ballads called rímur. Rímur are epic tales benthic, usually acappella, which can be traced back to skaldic poetry, using complex metaphors and elaborate rhyme schemes. The best known rímur poet of the 19th century was Sigurður Breiðfjörð (1798-1846). A modern revitalization of the tradition began in 1929 with the formation of Iðunn.
Icelandic contemporary music consists of a big group of bands, ranging from pop-rock groups such as Bang Gang, Quarashi and Amiinato solo ballad singers like Bubbi Morthens, Megas and Björgvin Halldórsson. Independent music is very strong in Iceland, with bands such as múm, The Sugarcubes, HAM, Of Monsters and Men, Sigur Rós, Soley and Viking metal band Skálmöld, as well as solo artists Emiliana Torrini and Mugison.
Some Icelandic jazz musicians and jazz bands have earned a reputation outside Iceland. Perhaps best known is the jazz fusion band Mezzoforte and Los Angeles-based jazz vocalist Anna Mjoll. Many Icelandic artists and bands have enjoyed international success, most notably Björk and Sigur Rós but Also Quarashi Ivy Ampop, MINUS and múm. The main music festival is arguably Iceland Airwaves, an annual event on the Icelandic music scene, where Icelandic bands along with foreign ones play in the clubs of Reykjavík for a week.         Electronic musicians include ones such as Thor and GusGus.
Among Iceland's best-known classical composers are Daníel Bjarnason and Anna S. Þorvaldsdóttir (Anna Thorvaldsdottir), who received in 2012 the Nordic Council Music Prizeand, in 2015 was chosen to the New York Philharmonic's Kravis Emerging Composer, an honor that includes a $ 50,000 cash prize and a commission to write a composition for the orchestra; she is the second recipient.

Cuisine

Much of Iceland's cuisine is based on fish, lamb, and dairy products, with little to the utilization of herbs or spices. Due to the island's climate, fruits and vegetables are not generally a component of traditional dishes, although the use of greenhouses has made them more common in contemporary food. Þorramatur is a selection of traditional cuisine consisting of many dishes, and is usually consumed around the month of Þorri, which begins on the first Friday after January 19th. Traditional dishes also include skyr, hákarl (cured shark), cured ram, singed sheep heads, and black pudding. Puffin is Considered the local delicacy that is often prepared through broiling.
Breakfast usually consists of pancakes, cereal, fruit, and coffee, while lunch may take the form of a smörgåsbord. The main meal of the day for most Icelanders is dinner, which usually Involves fish or lamb to the main course. Seafood is central to most Icelandic cooking, particularly cod and haddock but also salmon, herring, and halibut. It is often prepared in a wide variety of ways, either smoked, pickled, boiled, or dried. Lamb is by far the most common meat, and it tends to be either smoke-cured (the hangikjöt known) or salt-preserved (saltkjöt). Many older dishes make use of every part of the sheep, such as slátur, which consists of offal (internal organs and entrails) minced together with blood and served in sheep stomach. Additionally, boiled or mashed potatoes, cabbage pickled green beans, and rye bread are prevalent side dishes.
Coffee is a popular beverage in Iceland, and is drunk at breakfast, after meals, and with a light snack in mid-afternoon. Coca-Cola is also widely consumed, to the extent that the country is said to have one of the per capita highest consumption rates in the world.     Iceland's signature alcoholic beverage is Brennivín (literally "burnt (ie distilled) wine") , which is similar to Scandinavian akvavit. It is a type of vodka made from distilled potatoes and flavored with caraway seeds either or angelica. Its potency has earned it the nickname svarti Dauði ( "Black Death").

Show our daughter, about to be five years, we live in a small drop of a great ocean called Earth. The globe-pad hanging in your room is, after all, made of a huge diversity and, on the opposite side of this globe, the boys live, talk and play differently, but they are just boys like her.

With the Pacific Ocean as the epicenter of our scope of action, most of us will travel in island environments, predictably in places like Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa, Cook Islands, the coast western United States and Canada and eventually before homecoming, a foray to Costa Rica and Panama or some Caribbean islands. Interteinment: Movies, TV shows and games #2

Hello, guys, it's Luiz. In this post I'm gonna talk a little bit about the definition, good and bad parts of watching series and movies and playing games.

1.                  Games

In games, players Interact with images uploaded to a device that displays usually a TV or monitor. The term video game is also widely used in Brazil to refer to the island where the games are processed. The electronic systems used to play video games are known as platforms - such as computers and consoles. Cell Arcadians are also good examples of platforms. They are a fun way for people to get distracted but excessive use can cause damage, as children playing up to 16 hours of video games per day may be addicted and develop more aggressive, intolerant and isolation from society, according to a study performed by the British Association of Anger Management.

2.                  Series

TV shows are also forms of distraction and also has various ways of see them, like computers, televisions and mobile phones, many people find that the best thing is to get home and watch their series. But it can also cause problems such as anxiety caused by waiting time for the release of the next season. So, be careful!

3.                  Movies

Movies are also ways of have fun and a way for children to learn with some educational cartoon, maybe. But there are movies that are not good for people and, like horror movies, that cause fear and anxiety and sometimes allucinations.

Behavior: Fluorescent Adolescents #2

Behavior: Fluorescent Adolescents #2

Hey guys, it's Brunna here! well, today I come here to talk about some things that we usually do in our passage to the beginning of adolescence.

  1. I really think that the biggest concern of the most teenagers (or those who are entering this phase) is the first kiss. Everyone who is going through it is very worried, and usually thinks like "will I do it right?" or "will he / she likes the kiss?”. My hint is: Just relax, colleague, do what you think is right and enjoy the moment.  Keep in mind that nobody  is born knowing nothing. Relax,  because  after the first, the next will be very good.

  1. Still in the vibe of early experiences, everyone has passed or will pass through a first date, and we'll agree it's something quite embarrassing for us who are so young. When it happens, we always look for the best clothes, to go with neat hair and we are always thinking of a good chat, of course (mainly by the fact that most of the time, we are going with the boy or girl who we like,I mean, we are trying to impress them, right?).
But do not worry if someone invited you to a first date, it is because he/she is already interested on you, so just be yourself and see if you like the person. Just imagine if that person becomes the love of your life?

  1. Another thing I've noticed several times is that we adolescents are a little afraid to tell some things to our parents, isn’t it?
When we are afraid to tell things about the first kiss, first boyfriend, first date and first time just hiding it. But if we stop to think, they have gone through these same experiences, then they would probably understand and help on what to do. Conclusion: Let's talk more with our parents, I’m sure that they will recommend us the best!

  1. Another thing I’ve also realized is the fact that many people in our age are very concerned about what others think, talk and comment about them. Man, be yourself and do not worry about what the others think of you, just worry about being happy and love yourself!

  1. At our age, many people want to excel in anything they do. They want to be the best in anything. Some dance, others like social networks, but I believe you have to be the best at what you like. Now you wonder "Yeah, but what do you mean by that?", it may seems a bit confusing, but what I mean is: you do not need to stand out to be the best, just do your best and make an effort to reach its end, independent of the result, be happy because you gave your best and because you’ve made everything by yourself! Is there anything better?

It is this guys, I hope you’ve enjoyed.
Bye, until the next post!

Culture: England #1

Culture: England #1

Hi, guys, it's Sabrina! How are you? I think all of you have thought about traveling sometime, maybe to another country. At least, I have always thought about that, that's why this post is about England's culture, I love the idea of going there sometime. The home of  incredible bands and singers, of the royal family and a place where we can find a lot of interesting things.
England's culture involves the conquest of Geat-Britain by the Anglo-Saxons, the Industrial Revolution, the Black Death and a lot of others historical facts. England's most spoken language is English and Christian is the most popular religion. There, the government is a constitutional monarchy.

Although the English people seems cold, they are just shy and introspective. They really care about politeness and education, so you should always say "please" and never be late. They also usually love beers, pubs and soccer, which they created. They love the Big Ben, the queen, they make a more sarcastic kind of humor and have the 5 o'clock tea's ritual. They also love fish with chips. If you ever go there, don't forget to take pictures in a phone booth.

Two stranger facts about England are that people use to walk in cemeteries like they were usual parks and that they drive in the left side of the road. If you want to know more about how to drive in England, visit this page: http://www.wikihow.com/Drive-in-the-UK

England has given us gifts in the musical area, it's the origin of many artists, like The Beatles, Coldplay, Adele, The Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, The Smiths and a bunch of others. It's also Shakespeare's home and where Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens were born.

So, this it it, guys. I hope you've liked.
